THE ESSENTIALS
What you really need to stay organized, be efficient and effective. Whether you are on the go or on set below are my must have basics for any stylist.
DON’T BREAK YOUR BACK
COOL IT DOWN- I have one for each hot tool. This allows you to pack up without waiting for your tools to cool down.

HEAT PROTECTION- not only is our client’s hair number one but hot tools can damage surfaces. Us Stylist’s are so lucky to be welcomed into their home, lets be mindful and respectful of their belongings!
ZIP IT- Let’s keep it personal. I always have on hand, deodorant, feminine products, extra masks, gum and bandaids. Don’t forget to add anything that may help you through the day.
NO CAPE- clients always ask “if you have time”. Always be prepared.
SPRAY AWAY- This allows clients to cover their face and keeping product their face

PACK IT UP- I have a packing cube for brushes, wet styling products, and dry styling products. Keeps my stuff separate and I can put the cubes in the washing machine.
LET’S BE CLEAR- Bobbie pins, elastics, hair bungees, etc.. easy to see, ready to-go!
PLUG IT ALL IN- time is money! Have all hot tools set out, on and ready to go. I set up all my hot tools for every client!

STAND UP- short stylist’s hear me out, adding a step stool has changed my life. Working along with makeup artist they will have the client sit in a higher chair and 100% of the time I can’t see or reach the top of my clients hair. By the end of the day my neck, arms and back hurt.
